The Negril Destination Assurance Council (DAC) has the responsibility to identify the needs of the industry and monitor the progress of developmental efforts in the Negril resort area of Jamaica.
Elaine Bradley, the Negril DAC chairperson provides governance and administration, as well as influence, motivate and enabling partners to ensure that quality standards are met and maintained in the Negril resort area.
Elaine Bradley, the Negril DAC chairperson is assisted by additional Negril DAC members appointed by the Minister of Tourism, The Honourable Edmund Bartlett, MP are Gilbert Fender, Christine Cohen, Ken Cooney will provide input by way of their expertise.
The Negril Destination Assurance Council is given administrative support by The Tourism Product Development Company Limited (TPDCo) through Lionel Myrie, Destination Manager, who is responsible for coordinating the work of governmental and non-governmental agencies in Negril resort area. The Negril Destination Assurance Council covers the parishes of Hanover and parts of Westmoreland (up to the Ferris Crossing).
